Bonos joins the company to help customers turn their extensive data and AI investments into measurable security and operational improvements

Sumo Logic, the Intelligent Operations Platform, announced Tom Bonos as its new Chief Revenue Officer. Bonos will lead Sumo Logic’s global sales and customer success organizations, with a focus on helping customers evolve their businesses for AI innovation while maintaining reliability and security.

Bonos joins Sumo Logic at a pivotal moment as security and cloud operations teams move beyond AI experimentation and look to deploy agentic AI across mission-critical, telemetry-intensive workflows. Sumo Logic is helping enable that shift through its Dojo AI platform, which transforms massive volumes of telemetry into trusted context and actionable intelligence for AI-powered security and operations.

“We empower customers to translate telemetry into trusted, AI-ready data, fueling autonomous AI agents so our customers can investigate and resolve issues,” said Chris Malone, CEO of Sumo Logic. “Tom has built his career working with customers to achieve business results, and his leadership will be critical as we help customers shift work to agents, improving security and performance outcomes while reducing costs.

Sumo Logic has already benefited from autonomous agents within its own Security Operations Center (SOC), where its AI-powered approach has reduced mean time to resolution (MTTR) by nearly 65% and returned more than 25 hours per week to security analysts. Bonos and his team will help customers achieve similar potential across their own environments.

Bonos joins Sumo Logic from Applause, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Revenue Officer. He previously held senior global sales roles at ServiceSource, Oracle, and SAP.

“Customers can see through companies selling AI agents without the underlying data foundation,” said Bonos. “Sumo Logic has a powerful advantage: the telemetry, context and intelligence required to make agents useful, trustworthy and accountable in complex enterprise environments. I’m excited to work alongside our customers and teams around the world to turn that advantage into meaningful results for our customers and partners.”
