10Pearls, an end-to-end technology product innovation and digital acceleration company continues its global expansion with the acquisition of Proximity, a nearshore software development company based in Costa Rica.

Founded in 2011 by Adolfo Cruz-Luthmer, Proximity specializes in agile software development and engineering teams, QA testing talent, and innovation services. The company will bring its top engineering talent and best practices and methodologies to 10Pearls, further expanding the digital transformation company’s technology solutions.
This strategic acquisition follows Likeable’s acquisition and significantly expands 10Pearls’ nearshore capabilities with an additional 120 highly qualified engineering resources. Together, the companies will offer a key strategic advantage to businesses looking to accelerate innovation and time to market — location. With this acquisition, 10Pearls total headcount has exceeded 1,000 employees, a key milestone. 10Pearls has managed to balance strong growth and culture by aligning with entrepreneurs who share similar values with respect to social impact and giving back.
