Cloudleaf, Inc., a leader in digital supply chain solutions, today announced the addition of Thales Teixeira, co-founder of Decoupling.co, author and former associate professor at Harvard Business School, to the company’s Board of Advisors.
“Thales has the ability to articulate and simplify a complex story about digital disruption in the supply chain world. His work in decoupling will help us uncover and unlock customer value, especially in this time of supply chain transformation”
Thales Teixeira brings deep experience in digital disruption, digital transformation and customer-centric innovation to Cloudleaf. He has worked on digital disruption with both big companies such as BMW, IBM and Nike and startups, so his insights and guidance will be invaluable as Cloudleaf grows.
Teixeira spent ten years as a full-time professor at the Harvard Business School where he taught digital marketing strategies and e-commerce to MBA and PhD candidates and executives. His research domain spans digital disruption and transformation, digital marketing and the Economics of Attention. Teixeira co-founded Decoupling.co, a digital disruption and transformation consultancy and is one of the judges of CNBC’s Disruptor50, a global competition of the most disruptive startups. His recent book—Unlocking the Customer Value Chain— discusses customer-centric innovation and digital disruption. His research has been published at Harvard Business Review, Forbes, The Economist, NY Times, etc., and he has presented it at Facebook, Warner Bros., The Coca-Cola Co., Paramount Pictures, and Disney.
“Advisory boards are a serious time commitment. As such, I don’t take any offer to join a board lightheartedly, and when I choose to join, it is because I believe in the people and purpose. On people, Mahesh Veerina is a visionary and has put together the best operators in the market. On purpose, the supply chain industry is broken and now is the time to come together to solve those problems,” Teixeira says. “Cloudleaf is providing end-to-end visibility to a very dark and opaque portion of manufacturing companies. He offered me a ride on his spaceship that is Cloudleaf, and I took it.”
“Thales has the ability to articulate and simplify a complex story about digital disruption in the supply chain world. His work in decoupling will help us uncover and unlock customer value, especially in this time of supply chain transformation,” explains Mahesh Veerina, CEO at Cloudleaf.
