Avetta Names Two New Executives to Accelerate Growth for Global Leadership in Supply Chain Risk Management
Indy Chakrabarti named Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer; Aaron Wattam is the new Avetta Chief Human Resource Officer
Avetta , one of the world leaders in providing cloud-based supply chain risk management solutions, announced that Indy Chakrabarti is now the Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer and Aaron Wattam will serve as the company’s Chief Human Resource Officer.
The addition of these executives follows the appointment of Arshad Matin as CEO and will help Avetta expand its global footprint through extending its Connect technology platform and its services that empower companies to achieve their environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals.

Chakrabarti will lead the marketing and strategy efforts at Avetta. He has more than 23 years of experience in product strategy, corporate marketing product management and M&A. Chakrabarti has a master’s degree in Engineering Logistics from MIT and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Rice University.

As Chief Human Resource Officer, Wattam is responsible for all people-related strategies for Avetta’s global employees. He has more than 25 years of HR experience and has led people strategy and global human resources teams in technology, oil and gas, distribution and logistics, and manufacturing organizations. He holds both SHRM-SCP (US) and GPHR (Global) professional designations and is a graduate of the Business Administration program from Sheridan College.
