Marita Scarfi, Startup and Public Company Executive, Joins Vouched as CFO; Ryan Patterson, AI and SaaS Revenue Expert, Will Lead Sales
Vouched, a leader in AI-powered, real-time visual and document identity verification, continues the expansion of its executive leadership team. The Company named Marita Scarfi, an experienced finance and operations executive, as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Business Operations Officer. Vouched also appointed Ryan Patterson, a proven SaaS and AI business development leader, as Vice President of Sales. These additions follow the previously-announced addition of Chief Technology Officer, Steve McQuade, for the rapidly-growing fintech startup, which also recently closed its $4.5 million financing.

Scarfi brings two decades of global finance and operations experience from early-stage companies to mature organizations. Prior to joining Vouched, she spent five years as a CFO at emerging technology companies MeasureOne and PebblePost, leading equity financings and scaling their financial and operational teams and structures. At 72andSunny, she implemented global enterprise systems and processes while the company grew 40% over a two-year period. At Organic, Scarfi led the company through its IPO in 2000 as well as led the sale to a private equity company in 2002. Her roles at Organic spanned from CEO to CFO to COO. Scarfi started her career at PriceWaterhouse Coopers. Scarfi graduated from Pace University with degrees in computer information systems and accounting
Patterson has 15 years of sales and customer success experience at various high-growth Silicon Valley startups ranging from automotive finance to commercial lending to banking to healthcare.
Patterson was previously the Director of Business Development at Australian Computer Vision startup, TrademarkVision, acquired by Clarivate Analytics, and Enterprise Sales Director at ModuleQ. Previously, he spent five years in Colorado, California and Texas as Portfolio Manager at General Motors (GMAC/Ally Financial). A graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, Patterson competed in track and field, and received a degree in Business Administration; Finance.
