“As teams continue to communicate across a variety of methods, this new patent is intended to ensure that users are collaborating with each other based on each user’s unique preferences, making the overall communication experience more efficient and personalized.”
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued Fuze U.S. Patent No.10764232B1 on September 1, 2020. The invention enables the Fuze platform to create a hierarchy of a user’s preferred methods of communication (call, text, email, video conference, etc.) to help other Fuze users determine how to best initiate communication and collaboration with each other. The Fuze platform determines the hierarchy of preferred methods of communication by collecting and analyzing data based on a user’s communication habits, schedule and predicted availability throughout the day. As a result, users are more engaged, conversations are more meaningful, and turnaround time for business decisions is improved.
“At Fuze, we are always looking for ways to make the user experience on the Fuze platform more seamless,” said Rob Scudiere, president and chief operating officer at Fuze. “As teams continue to communicate across a variety of methods, this new patent is intended to ensure that users are collaborating with each other based on each user’s unique preferences, making the overall communication experience more efficient and personalized.”
