“Elementum is built around the idea that there’s a better way to run critical business processes,” said Nader Mikhail, founder and CEO of Elementum. “We spent years building a platform that enterprises could trust as an AI-native alternative to legacy SaaS. Phil brings the experience and ambition to help us take what we’ve built to the next level, and I’m excited to have him leading our next phase of growth.”
Demand for the platform is accelerating worldwide, as enterprises move to replace legacy software with AI-native automation that runs inside their own data cloud. The Elementum team will meet this demand with plans to grow the sales team 5x this year.

“Enterprise software is at an inflection point. AI is creating an opportunity to rethink how critical work gets done, rather than simply adding intelligence to the same legacy systems,” said Duggan. “What drew me to Elementum was the rare combination of a differentiated product, enterprise customers already seeing real results, and a team with the experience and ambition to build a category-defining company. My focus now is building the go-to-market organization to bring that approach to more enterprises globally.”
Duggan joins an experienced group of enterprise software operators and investors supporting Elementum’s next stage of growth. The company’s board includes Frank Slootman and Michael Scarpelli, who helped scale both ServiceNow and Snowflake through their public-market debuts, alongside investors Jim Davidson, Christopher Schaepe and Chad Peets.
Elementum works closely with Chad Peets of RPT Partners, a veteran enterprise software leader and talent builder who helped build Snowflake’s sales organization. Peets will work closely with Duggan as Elementum builds the commercial organization needed to support its next stage of growth.
Elementum is scaling its go-to-market, engineering, and customer teams and is recruiting operators who want to build the defining enterprise platform of the AI era. Come build it: elementum.ai.
