Behavioral Signals has appointed General John W. Nicholson Jr. (U.S. Army, Retired) as Advisory Board Member, National Security and Defense. The four-star general and former Lockheed Martin Middle East CEO will guide strategy as the company expands its voice AI and deepfake detection work across defense and intelligence missions.
Behavioral Signals, a behavioral AI company building real-time voice trust infrastructure, today announced the appointment of General John W. Nicholson Jr. (U.S. Army, Retired) as Advisory Board Member, National Security and Defense. General Nicholson brings four decades of leadership at the most senior levels of the U.S. military, NATO, and the global defense industry to the role, and will work closely with the company’s executive team on its expanding government, defense, and intelligence community engagements.

The appointment comes as Behavioral Signals deepens its engagement across the national security community, including its partnership with In-Q-Tel and expanding work with defense and intelligence partners in the U.S. and allied nations. The company’s behavioral voice AI and deepfake detection technology, which identifies synthetic voices at 98% accuracy in sub-second resolution, is increasingly relevant to mission-critical applications where authentication, intent recognition, and adversarial detection are operationally essential.
