Cold storage warehouse management system software developer Datex is participating in the annual IARW-WFLO Convention, held October 8-12, 2022 in San Diego, California. The well-known temperature-controlled warehouse industry event is expected to attract hundreds of industry leaders. The event is a favorite every year for its special blend of social and business development experiences.
The convention includes a robust educational program developed for senior-level warehousing and logistics executives as well as social activities including a golf classic and fishing tournament, receptions and a supplier exhibition. Changing consumer expectations, changes to refrigerated distribution as well as to transportation and logistics have led to increased need for collaboration and problem solving in the cold chain logistics industry.
A membership organization representing the third-party logistics temperature-controlled warehouse industry, the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW) was founded in 1891 to help deal with the complex challenges of dealing with perishable foods. The IARW promotes best practices in temperature-controlled logistics and warehousing and advocates for its membership on legislative and regulatory issues.
