SIOS Technology Responds to Growing Demand for High Availability Clustering Solutions in Cloud and Hybrid Environments
Industry Veterans, Jim Caro and Frank Jablonski, Join as SVP of Sales and VP of Marketing to Drive Global Growth
SIOS Technology Corp., the industry pioneer in providing IT Resilience through intelligent application availability, announced the appointment of Jim Caro as SVP of Sales and Frank Jablonski as VP of Marketing. These executive hires further build out the SIOS senior management team including recent additions of Michael Bilancieri as VP of Product; Kevin Williams as Executive Advisor & SVP of Engineering; and the appointment of Cassius Rhue as VP of Customer Experience.
The company is now well positioned to meet the growing global demand of SIOS’ high availability clustering software for critical applications like SQL Server, Oracle, and SAP operating in physical, virtual and cloud environments. SIOS’ new customer business for cloud deployments grew over 100% year-over-year reflecting a rapid change in cloud adoption for critical applications and the increased need for high availability clusters in the cloud.
Jim Caro joins SIOS as SVP of Sales, reporting to President and CEO Jerry Melnick. Most recently, he was the head of storage sales for New England focusing on public sector, higher education & healthcare organizations at HPE. Prior to that, he was Sr. VP of Global Alliances at Unitrends and before that, VP of Channels, Americas at Acronis. Jim also held business development and sales leadership positions at FilesX and Network Engines.
Frank Jablonski comes to SIOS as its VP of Marketing, also reporting to Jerry Melnick. He brings over 20 years of data protection experience and is well-versed in backup, recovery, replication, high availability, continuous data protection, data encryption, deduplication, storage, tape, disk, cloud, virtualization, cataloging and audit reporting which is instrumental in this role. Previously, Frank was Vice President of Global Product Marketing at Acronis where he led the product marketing team for Acronis’ data protection and cloud products. Earlier, he held senior marketing roles at Syncsort, CA, FilesX, Genuity and EMC.
