Loopio Brings On Rick Smolen As First Senior VP of Sales

Rick Smolen joins as SVP of Sales to help the RFP software platform build its world-class sales team and drive growth.

Loopio, the leader in RFP response software, announced that Rick Smolen has joined the team as its Senior Vice President of Sales. In this role, Smolen will lead the company’s sales strategy, with a focus on scaling the team and helping Loopio strengthen its market leadership.

Smolen is a passionate sales leader with more than 15 years of experience building winning sales teams. Previously, he served as Vice President of Sales at Greenhouse Software, where he played an integral role in growing the company’s annual recurring revenue to over $60-million in less than three years. Under Smolen, the Greenhouse sales team also grew from 40 team members to more than 120. He’s also spent time over the past few years acting as a sales effectiveness consultant to emerging tech companies.

The idea of a solution immediately resonated with me,” states Smolen. “The more I learned about Loopio, its people, and the needs for the future, the more excited I got about getting involved.”
