We have chosen to partner with a number of grassroots non-profit organizations in India that have direct donation platforms to provide resources where they are most needed. They are: GiveIndia Foundation, which provides food to families, cash support to families of COVID-19 deceased and boosting oxygen supplies; along with Zomato Feeding India, which distributes oxygen concentrators to hospitals and patients and related supplies for free; as well as CARE India, which works to set up temporary COVID-19 hospitals and care facilities and provide PPE kits and distribute dry rations.

Tony Mira, CEO and Founder of MiraMed Global Services, states, “The MiraMed Family of Companies has had close ties to India for quite some time now. For over 20 years we have been working with our employees at MiraMed Ajuba, located in Chennai, India. Their contributions to the success of our companies cannot be overstated. Their integrity, relentless pursuit of excellence and extraordinary staff accomplishments have helped paved the way for organizational advances that benefit our entire family of companies. We are proud to have them as part of the MiraMed team.”

The COVID crisis has affected us all worldwide. Here in the United States, our vaccines are effective and readily available. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for our brothers and sisters in India and they are suffering the worst right now. India’s devastating COVID-19 outbreak broke new records last weekend, with authorities reporting more than 400,000 cases for the first time on Saturday and a record-high number of deaths on Sunday.

Experts warn that we must contain these outbreaks, before they fuel the rise of more variants and result in increased spread to other countries. Please consider a donation to MiraMed Helping Hands for India COVID-19 Relief to help contain the virus and heal the world from this devastating pandemic. The pandemic and the spread of COVID-19 has shown just how interconnected the world is. And if a country has very high levels of infection, then it’s likely to spread to other countries. Help us help India and minimize spread to the rest of the world.
