Blackhorn Ventures Invests in Voice-Visual AI Solutions as Industrial Sector Grows

Datch, a leading provider of voice-first AI solutions for industrial operations, announced the close of its $10M Series A funding round led by Blackhorn Ventures. The funding will be used to expand enterprise operations and develop software support, tools and capabilities that will enable increased access and integration with Datch’s platform.

“On top of the industry-wide post-COVID shift to digitization, we are going to see investments from the industrial sector further accelerate with the newly passed Bipartisan Infrastructure Law,” said Mark Fosdike, Datch CEO and Co-Founder. “And with an aging labor force coming into retirement faster than they’re being replaced, it’s imperative to get Datch into our customers’ hands faster, so they can vastly improve their operational efficiency through the use of a single voice-visual interface.”

Through the use of natural language processing, Datch digitizes, structures, and streamlines work management processes for deskless teams. Throughout their jobs, workers interact with Datch through voice and touch, and the Datch platform handles the rest, interfacing with their systems of record on their behalf.

Datch simplifies the complexities of modern systems and allows AI to report and structure on behalf of frontline teams, removing the burden they experience when interacting with multiple disparate systems. Teams that deploy Datch across their workflows will typically see 75-90% reduction in the time spent on their processes, while increasing data quality and volume by 2-4x.
