Winners are among the continent’s brightest and most innovative private ventures. Red Herring’s editorial team chose Gurucul as one of North America’s tech elite, during a months-long process that takes into account criteria including disruptive impact, proof of concept, financial performance, market footprint and quality of management. Winners were selected from thousands of entrants and whittled down to hundreds that presented their companies at the virtual conference on November 17th and 18th.
“Gurucul is honored to be named a Red Herring 100 company for 2020,” said Saryu Nayyar, CEO of Gurucul. “This coveted award recognizes Gurucul’s technology innovation as well as our business performance and market adoption among Global 1000 companies and government agencies that rely on us to protect their most sensitive assets.”
For over two decades Red Herring’s team has seen through the tech sector’s hype to select brands that have become industry benchmarks. Previous Top 100 finalists have included Alibaba, Facebook, Google, Skype, SuperCell, Spotify, Twitter, and YouTube.
“2020’s crop of Top 100 winners has been among our most intriguing yet,” said Red Herring chairman Alex Vieux. “North America has led the way in tech for so many years, and to see such unique, pioneering entrepreneurs and companies here, which is in many ways the heartland of the industry, has been a thrilling experience.
