“We started the D&I awards at IAMCP to incentivize an inclusive ecosystem of channel partners and recognize affirmative actions that are taking us one step closer to a more equal and equitable world”

The annual awards are a product of the IAMCP D&I Committee and serve recognition of the work that Gavriella Schuster has done to promote workplace equity for all.

“We started the D&I awards at IAMCP to incentivize an inclusive ecosystem of channel partners and recognize affirmative actions that are taking us one step closer to a more equal and equitable world,” commented Said Sarika Malhotra, IAMCP International President. “I am thrilled that the winners this year exemplify strong cultures of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in their organizations and will shine as role models from which the entire community can learn.”

The Revolent leadership team strongly believes in championing an inclusive workforce and supporting its customers across the Microsoft ecosystem to be able to do the same, through building strong teams of diverse Microsoft cloud talent.

“We have clear and comprehensive policies on anti-discrimination, flexible working and parental leave. As a result, 67% of our senior management team is female, of whom 40% are working moms, which is an impressive statistic in the context of the wider tech sector,” says Nabila Salem, President of Revolent. “We deeply believe that diverse hiring brings perspectives that collectively help us better serve our customers and make our organization stronger. And this is reflected in our roster of Revols whereby 68% are from a Black, Asian or ethnic minority background, and over 37% are the first in their family to attend higher education. We are extremely proud to have been given this award and to have been recognized by Gavriella Schuster, whose work in this area has been transformational for many companies.”

Gavriella Schuster, former Corporate V.P., One Commercial Partner, Microsoft, left the organization late last year to pursue her passion: advocating workplace equity, regardless of people’s personal differentiations, such as gender, visual, religious, physical or mental ability, sexual orientation, or anything else that might create divisiveness and present a barrier to inclusion.

“This year I was thrilled to be part of the process within the IAMCP to review and select the 2022 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion award winners,” commented Schuster. “I was excited to read the stories and see so many organizations that are taking very intentional action to both hire more diverse candidates and build more inclusive cultures to ensure that the talent they hire can thrive within these organizations. The quality of the nominees was incredibly high. The award-winning organizations demonstrated, through their actions and their results, that building allyship within their organization is a key to the winning formula of success.”

The IAMCP is deeply committed to ongoing education and support of its members, regardless of where they are in their D&I journey, in their respective promotion of acceptance and inclusion of others within their organizations.

“All the winners of the Gavriella Schuster awards are not only inspirational, but educational as best inclusion practices that could be implemented by other companies in the Microsoft channel,” added Elena Baeva, IAMCP D&I Committee Chair. “The IAMCP team is committed to showcasing each winner through a series of interviews and an e-Book that will be published later in the year. Our dedicated team has collated a wealth of resources to enable our member base and others in their development and implementation of their D&I strategies, which we shall roll out to the community at large shortly.”
