During peak season, the City of Sedona’s population more than doubles, creating traffic delays and backups. The COVID-19 pandemic drove an even more significant tourism surge to the City of Sedona, requiring a solution to address the congestion and mobility needs of residents, visitors, and commuters. The city sought to address this congestion and improve its quality of life and visitor experience by launching new public shuttle services.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has reshaped transportation habits in cities like Sedona nationwide as tourists turn towards domestic travel,” said Jackson Lake, TransLoc Director of Sales. “Orion and TransLoc are the ideal partners to support the City of Sedona’s transportation planning and new transit service. We look forward to partnering with the City of Sedona as they build a robust, adaptable transportation system ready to serve residents and visitors now and in the future.”
