One setback is that you cannot export your date into an excel sheet unless you have a paid version. If you are looking for more questions, and more responses or want to use any of the branching and pipeline features you will have to opt for a paid version of the tool. The price range starts at 26$ a month.

Typeform, in line with its motto – “asking questions should be easy, human, and beautiful,” offers a smooth experience and allows you to conduct your surveys seamlessly. Some of its features that it offers in its basic version include unlimited questions, unlimited answers, data export, basic reporting and customized templates. Providing these features in a free version gives Typeform an edge over its competitors as in most other tools these features comes at an added cost.

SurveyLegend offers 4 packages to choose from – Starter (free), Pro, Business and Legendary. The free version has limitations; gives an option of up to 3 surveys. However, you can ask unlimited questions and answers and choose optimization options for mobile devices, like tablets and other smartphones. The top versions have options that allow you to export responses to Excel, Google Drive etc., sharing data, uploading files, uploading custom backgrounds and more are also possible. The paid versions start at a price of 19$ a month.

JotForm is an online web and email survey builder tool with an easy to use interface. You don’t have to be a coding pro to understand JotForm which makes it a highly recommended tool for any marketer who doesn’t have coding experience. The basic plan offers upto 100 submissions, 100MB of online storage, 5 forms and 1,000 monthly form views. Paid plans start with around 24$ a month when billed annually and goes upto 79$ a month. The highest level i.e. Gold allows the user up to 100,000 submissions, 1TB storage, unlimited forms and views.

While creating a survey, SurveyPlanet also gives you a preview option to give you a fair idea of the final output. Only the pro version lets you export data to Excel though.
