Receives ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II Certifications to Further Protect Customer Data

The company has successfully completed its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001 and Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type II audits for selected services and global controls of the ZoomInfo platform, enabling it to consistently meet the security needs and growing expectations of its customers.

ZoomInfo has earned its ISO 27001 certification for meeting the requirements of establishing, maintaining, and continually improving its information security management system. Its ISO auditors independently conducted the audit and inspected ZoomInfo’s information management systems and the controls in scope for the audit.

“We take data privacy and security very seriously at ZoomInfo,” said David Lewis, ZoomInfo’s Chief Security Officer. “Our customers and their data are incredibly important to us. The security architecture of our platform goes well beyond compliance to safeguard our customers’ and company’s assets and information.”

Conducted by SC&H Attest Services, a Maryland-based advisory firm, the audit confirms that ZoomInfo’s information security practices, policies, procedures, and operations meet the rigorous SOC 2 requirements for security, confidentiality, and availability. The SOC 2 Type II certification is one of the most comprehensive evaluations of a company’s information security controls, attesting to the highest security extent possible.

ZoomInfo emphasizes GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) compliance. The company is a registered data broker with the State of California, and it is also Privacy Shield-certified.
