Conga Appoints Simon Edwards as Chief Financial Officer
Edwards brings GE training and experience to Conga’s next phase of growth
Conga, the global leader in Revenue Lifecycle Management, today announced the appointment of Simon Edwards as Chief Financial Officer. Edwards’ humility, collaborative nature, and strategic intelligence make him an excellent fit for Conga. With a multidimensional approach that goes above and beyond, his focus on elevating and scaling his team aligns perfectly with the values of the company, while his ambition will drive a next level of growth.
Edwards assumes the position from Bob Pinkerton who, for personal reasons related to his immediate family, has decided to leave Conga.
“We fully support Bob’s decision to invest time with his family, but it’s impossible to replace him. His commitment to Conga as a CFO and culture champion is unmatched,” said Noel Goggin, CEO and Culture Leader at Conga. “As Conga continues to grow and evolve as the global Revenue Lifecycle leader, Simon will ease the transition and be a natural fit for Conga. His extensive experience, combined with the expertise and operational rigor cultivated during his time with GE, make him an invaluable addition to our organization.”
Edwards joins Conga with over 15 years of public and private company experience. Most recently, Edwards oversaw ServiceMax’s global finance organization, as well as its corporate development, business operations, and IT functions. Prior to ServiceMax, Edwards spent over a decade at GE, holding a number of finance leadership roles across various divisions and geographies.
“As I shift to spending needed time with my family and what I am calling ‘semi-retirement,’ I want to thank everyone at Conga, particularly my fellow Conganeers around the world,” said Pinkerton. “This has been one of the best experiences of my career, and it is in large part due to your energy. Also, as a continuing shareholder, I am incredibly excited about Conga’s future and can’t wait to see what the next couple years bring.”

Edwards will manage all financial and accounting aspects of the company. He’ll also provide Conga’s leadership team and board of directors with financial and strategic guidance.
“More than 11,000 customers already leverage Conga’s Revenue Lifecycle Management solution to streamline and optimize their revenue operations, and I’m bullish about Conga’s growth opportunity as more companies look to digitize their increasingly complex operations,” said Edwards. “I feel privileged to be a part of the Conga operating team through this next phase of growth and work alongside more than 1,500 talented colleagues who embody the Conga Way.”
Edwards holds a BS from the University of the West of England and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. While his appointment is effective immediately, Pinkerton will remain with Conga through June to assist with Edwards’ transition. Edwards will be based out of the San Francisco Bay Area.
