Simfoni’s dedication to diversity, inclusion and connectivity across its global workforce has won the procurement software provider the Gold Stevie Award in the “Employer of the Year” category in the seventh annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers.
Simfoni announced that it has been named the winner of a Gold Stevie Award in the Employer of the Year category in the seventh annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers.
The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize the world’s best employers and the human resources professionals, teams, achievements, and HR-related products and suppliers who help to create and drive great places to work.
More than 950 nominations from organizations of all sizes in 26 nations were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of HR-related categories. Simfoni was nominated in the Employer of the Year category for the software industry.

“Simfoni, with its claims of inclusion, diversity, and the impressive male to female workforce ratio, merits bold thinking and leading by example. Their value and respect for cultural diversity is another key point that merits this award,” commented one judge.
Simfoni’s nomination video featured Chrisna Vergottini-Mason, Chief People Officer at Simfoni, speaking on several initiatives her team has spearheaded to cultivate a culture of connectivity, collaboration, and inclusion across Simfoni’s globally distributed workforce. These initiatives foster meaningful employee engagement, career advancement opportunities, and an inclusive approach to celebrating diversity. “To be successful, we have to be intentional about the conversations we are having with employees. That starts with leaders being curious about the individuals they are leading and creating a welcoming and inclusive culture through curiosity and empathy,” said Vergottini-Mason.
The nomination also highlighted an impressive 340 percent increase in female representation over the last 18 months, a notable achievement in the tech industry, which is experiencing unprecedented growth, but where women are still vastly underrepresented.
“We are unapologetic about breaking the tech and procurement industries’ trends around gender imbalance,” said Vergottini-Mason. “The mandate set to us by senior leadership is to be the employer of choice. To make sure our team is fit for now and fit for the future.”
“Being a ’Great Place to Work’ is the first and most important of our corporate values,” said Chirag Shah, Chairman & Founder of Simfoni. “It requires dedication and commitment from all corners of the workforce – it’s not something that can be achieved from top-down mandates. For companies like Simfoni, with a globally distributed workforce, it is even more challenging. That’s why it gives me great pleasure to see Simfoni being recognized in this way, particularly at a time when workplaces are coming under tremendous pressure as we grapple with a multitude of challenges such as inclusion, mental stress, and new ways of working.”
More than 100 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners. Winners in the Employer of the Year categories were determined by a unique blending of the ratings of the professional judges and more than 80,000 public votes. The public vote was sponsored by HiBob.
“We congratulate all of the winners in the seventh edition of the Stevie Awards for Great Employers, and we look forward to celebrating them in Las Vegas on September 17, our first awards banquet since 2019,” said Stevies president Maggie Miller.
