Quickbase received the highest possible scores in 12 criteria, including:

  • Databases and data modeling experience
  • Integration tools, connectors, adapters
  • Application quality checks and testing
  • Dev permissions, policies, and guardrail
  • Platform monitoring and analytics
  • Access control for admins and end users
  • Security audits and certifications

The report noted that Quickbase is “an excellent choice for citizen development strategies focused on the features and services necessary for scaled, enterprise governance on a data-driven platform.”

Over the years, the no-code / low-code market has broken into two fundamentally different categories: platforms that enable professional developers to work faster, and platforms that empower anyone in the business to automate processes and workflows. Quickbase is the longest running pioneer in the latter as the company has spent over 20 years focusing on building technology that both meets the security and governance requirements for enterprise grade systems and is tuned for rapid solution development and iteration.

In Q2, the company announced a number of upgrades to its platform to power citizen automation at scale, including a partnership with Lucid, enablement services packages, and a series of updates designed to give businesses greater visibility into their operational workflows and on-premises systems, along with flexible licensing. More product upgrades will be released in the coming months to support enterprise customers and meet the unique needs of industries such as construction, supply chain, real estate, and energy.
