Seasoned technology leader to accelerate QAD’s vision of transforming manufacturing from Systems of Record to Systems of Action
QAD Inc., the company transforming manufacturing and supply chains with intelligent, adaptive solutions, announced the appointment of Rajeev Purohit as General Manager, QAD India and Head of Engineering for ERP & Supply Chain.
Rajeev’s appointment marks a pivotal step in advancing QAD’s vision to take manufacturing from Systems of Record to Systems of Action — where every frontline worker, every machine, and every decision drives outcome.
Rajeev brings more than 24 years of global leadership across SaaS, PaaS, AI, and enterprise platforms — with a proven record of scaling technology organizations, driving innovation and building large-scale, resilient systems. At Freshworks, Rajeev led the evolution of the Neo and Data Platforms that powered scalability and AI-driven insights across its global suite. Earlier, at athenahealth, he modernized core RCM systems and launched AI-led platforms that transformed efficiency and business outcomes.

In his dual role, Rajeev will oversee QAD’s operations in India and lead global engineering for ERP and Supply Chain. Based in Pune, he will focus on strengthening QAD India as a center of excellence for innovation and delivery, while advancing the company’s engineering roadmap across all regions.
