Appointment accelerates a new phase of AI-infused product strategy, innovation, and growth for the Company amidst a rising need for robust identity-centric cybersecurity SaaS solutions
One Identity, a provider of unified cloud-first identity solutions backed by Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. (together with its affiliates, “Clearlake“), announced the appointment of Praerit Garg as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). With more than 30 years of experience in developing large-scale distributed software systems and internet services, Mr. Garg brings deep expertise in identity and access management along with a proven track record of SaaS product leadership across both startups and large enterprises. Mr. Garg replaces current CEO, Mark Logan, whose leadership and contributions have been instrumental in advancing One Identity’s mission to provide unified identity security solutions.
Prior to joining One Identity, Mr. Garg served as President of Product & Innovation at Smartsheet, where he led the product and engineering organization and shaped the company’s strategy across technology, customer-driven innovation, pricing, packaging and M&A. Before Smartsheet, he was general manager of Identity, Directory, and Access Services at Amazon Web Services (AWS); co-founder of Symform, a cloud- storage startup later acquired by Quantum; and held various product & engineering roles at Microsoft, contributing to the development of Windows software and its security features, including Active Directory.
