“Dave’s entire career has been focused on the learning and HR technology market, watching our company as a competitor and a partner over the years. He knows Degreed well, and because of that experience, he deeply understands the clients, products and our advantages in the marketplace like our strong commitment to our customers and the focus on the learner. He sees, as I do, an amazing opportunity to grow and scale Degreed,” said David Blake, Chief Executive Officer, Degreed.

Carter, who is known for his ability to build high-performing teams that drive growth and deliver results for clients, will lead the sales and revenue operations teams at Degreed focusing on enterprise and mid-market companies.

“I’ve been a big fan of Degreed for many years because of its impressive list of enterprise clients. Having spent ten years at a leading LMS provider, I am abundantly aware of the impact a well executed learning strategy can offer a business. And more often than not, traditional LMSs are unable to deliver on the promise due to their focus on top down, mandatory training. It is only with a personalized learning experience that inspires high employee adoption and engagement that the potential of learning’s impact on a business can be realized. I believe Degreed is well positioned to deliver on this opportunity,” said Carter.
