Former Snowflake sales leader joins as enterprises seek the governed business context required to operationalize AI at scale

AtScale, leading provider of the Universal Semantic Layer for enterprise AI and analytics, announced the appointment of Bryan Abou-Rjaily as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

“AtScale is solving one of the most important problems in enterprise AI,” said Abou-Rjaily.

Abou-Rjaily joins AtScale from Snowflake, where he helped drive enterprise sales expansion across complex global accounts and built high-performing teams focused on data and AI platform adoption. He joins AtScale at a critical moment as enterprises move beyond AI pilots and face a more urgent challenge: turning AI investments into real business value.

His appointment follows a series of strategic hires, including Jay Schuren (President, formerly of DataRobot), Luis Maldonado (Chief Product Officer, formerly of dbt Labs), Amy Miller (VP of Customer Success, formerly of AWS), and Chuck Bear (Chief Architect, formerly of Vertica), all of whom joined following AtScale’s recent strategic equity investment led by Snowflake Ventures.

“Bryan understands how to sell infrastructure that matters at the executive level because he understands the business value underneath the technology,” said Chris Lynch, CEO and Executive Chairman of AtScale. “He helped scale Snowflake from under $100 million in ARR to more than $4.7 billion, playing a key role in building the Northeast business and leadership team along the way. He brings a deep understanding of how to translate data and AI platform investments into measurable customer and revenue outcomes. Every enterprise wants to make AI work, but very few have the governed business context required to do it reliably, repeatedly, and at scale. Bryan knows how to connect that challenge to strategic execution.”

In his new role, Abou-Rjaily will lead AtScale’s global revenue organization, focusing on accelerating enterprise adoption of the Universal Semantic Layer as organizations operationalize AI and analytics at scale.

“AtScale is solving one of the most important problems in enterprise AI,” said Abou-Rjaily. “Companies are investing heavily in models, copilots, and agents, but those systems cannot deliver meaningful business value without consistent definitions, governed metrics, and trusted context. If you want to make money with AI, you need a foundation that makes your data understandable and usable across the business. That is exactly what AtScale provides, and I’m excited to help more organizations put it to work.”

As enterprises race to deploy AI in production, the challenge is no longer access to models. It is ensuring those models operate on governed, analytics-ready data with the context required to produce accurate, reliable outcomes. Only AtScale addresses that challenge by providing a universal semantic layer that brings consistency across AI applications, analytics, and BI, so that enterprises can evolve their data platforms, tools, and AI strategies without having to rebuild the business logic that makes those systems trustworthy. This helps organizations move faster while reducing risk and improving trust.
