Nucleus Research Releases 2022 SMB ERP Technology Value Matrix

Acumatica, Epicor, Infor, Oracle NetSuite, and Rootstock lead the market in delivering exceptional value through ERP technology.

Nucleus Research found the Small-to-Medium Businesses (SMB) ERP market experienced significant growth during the past 12 months as organizations look to maximize the ROI from their ERP solutions.

“Top ERP vendors have slashed typical deployment times from 18 months to 6 months for SMB customers,” said Research Manager Isaac Gould. “Nucleus found that ERP vendors have largely adopted a platform approach. Vendors offer a host of applications outside core ERP that can be managed from a central location, improving the overall value proposition of their platforms.”

The report shows that in the past 12 months, the rate of iPaaS and RPA adoption by ERP vendors has exploded, making ERP platforms more accessible and easier to manage from an IT perspective. Leaders in the space have invested in ERP-adjacent solutions which offer tools that are quick yet low cost to deploy and provide greater automation than a third-party application. Nucleus expects organizations to prioritize ease of adoption and implementation, time-to-value, extensibility, and a manageable Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) when considering a new ERP system.
