Nextpoint breaks new ground in processing speed, analysis, reporting, and infrastructure-as-a-service for all law-kind.
As Nextpoint, an industry leader in cloud-based ediscovery and litigation support software, enters its 22nd successful year, the company announces the full release of its Data Mining suite of tactical ECA tools for legal teams looking to mitigate risk, save time and money, and tackle their ever-growing data volumes in ediscovery.
Data Mining delivers the highest data processing speeds (30x faster), best-in-class data security, and real-time analytics and reporting that empower legal teams to reduce the scope of their review and make strategic decisions earlier in a case. With transparent, predictable pricing, flexible infrastructure-as-a-service capabilities, and experts to support clients at every step, Nextpoint Data Mining ensures a successful outcome for complex data projects.

Released in Beta to a select group of Nextpoint clients in early 2022, Data Mining has proven to effectively process 10 terabytes of native data in a single day and deliver detailed, analytical reports to discovery teams in real time. There are no load or speed constraints for individual projects thanks to Nextpoint’s innovative processing architecture which executes complex tasks for each project/client in a discrete channel.
This advanced processing capacity is an essential component of Data Mining, designed to cater to the rapid growth of legal data seen in litigation today. “The world keeps churning out staggering amounts of data, which means we need more sophisticated tools to give us insight into the information it contains for relevancy, compliance, privacy, investigations, and more,” said Brett Burney, ediscovery consultant and Nextpoint’s eLaw evangelist. “Data Mining from Nextpoint helps legal professionals quickly assess and analyze incoming data so they can make informed strategic decisions for their clients and their matters.”
Nextpoint clients have already benefited from Data Mining’s advanced analytical tools and robust processing power. “Nextpoint Data Mining helped us understand what we were looking at,” said Dr. Michael Diamond of Augusta University. “Not only the different file types, but also specific classifications and groupings to help us better understand our massive data collection.”
Data Mining represents a new step in Nextpoint’s 20+ year journey as pioneers of cloud-based legal technology. “Ever-larger data workloads are moving to the cloud,” says Rakesh Madhava, founder and CEO of Nextpoint. “Nextpoint’s Data Mining Suite represents the next generation of technologies that are needed to handle these workloads. This product suite represents our most significant product release over the past decade, and it is the rails on which Nextpoint can design and deliver its next generation of eLaw solutions.”
The Data Mining suite of ECA/EDA tools is now available to all Nextpoint clients, with 5 TB or 15 TB of native data analysis included in our All-Access and Apex pricing plans respectively.
