“In my capacity as MUG’s Board President, it is an honor to help amplify the now 10,000-strong unified voices within our Mitel user community,” said Bob Baddeley, president of MUG’s board of directors. “MUG members share a kinship that fosters networking and meaningful conversation. The growing power of the MUG community allows us to collaborate directly with Mitel to drive growth and innovation and make unified communications better for all.”

“Groups like MUG serve an invaluable purpose within unified communications,” said Zeus Kerravala, founder and principal analyst at ZK Research. “As one of the largest user groups of its kind, MUG is a 10,000-person strong hive mind that is actively contributing to bring value not just back to Mitel and its partners but helps drive innovation in unified communications as a whole.”

MUG was officially formed in 2017 though Mitel user groups have existed long before the creation of a formal entity whose goal was and continues to be to provide the global Mitel user base and Mitel partners with a centralized, grass roots community organization designed to help one another get the most out of their Mitel solutions, share best practices, and provide valuable feedback to Mitel in an effort to ensure the unified communications leader delivered solutions best suited to evolving customer needs.
