Mercedes-Benz Reports Q2 2021 Sales of 82,390 Vehicles
Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) today reported Q2 2021 sales of 82,390 Mercedes-Benz models. Additionally, Mercedes-Benz Vans recorded Q2 sales of 10,053, bringing MBUSA to a grand total of 92,443 vehicles for the quarter, an increase of 31.6% over the comparable period last year. On a year-to-date basis, MBUSA recorded sales of 160,646 Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles and 21,712 Vans. This brings MBUSA’s total year-to-date sales to 182,358 units, an increase of 25.3% versus 2020.

Mercedes-Benz volume leaders in Q2 included the GLE, CLC and GLB model lines. The GLE led totals with 19,037 units followed by GLC with sales of 14,580. The GLB rounded out the top three with 10,360 units. Year-to-date, MBUSA’s volume leaders are the GLE, GLC and C-Class with totals of 35,705; 30,149; and 17,795 respectively.
Q2 sales of Mercedes-AMG high-performance models totaled 12,510 units (+68.9%) with 24,200 vehicles sold year-to-date (+74.9%).
Separately, Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned (MBCPO) models recorded sales of 38,884 vehicles during the second quarter of 2021, up 35.7% versus to Q2 2020. On a year-to-date basis, MBCPO sold 73,879 vehicles, an increase of 21.6% compared to last year.
