The FocusCalm app is centered around the FocusCalm Score, a real-time measurement of a user’s stress levels on a scale from 0 to 100. Playing games on the app reinforces the brain’s ability to enter a state of relaxation as well as strengthening brain functions including memory, attention span, and decision making.
The FocusCalm app tracks brain progress in three dimensions: depth, consistency, and speed. Depth is how relaxed the brain is, consistency is how well the user can stay in a calm state, and speed is how quickly the user can enter a calm state. Time spent in a calm brain state is also tracked so users can notice improvements.
