Zipwhip, the inventor of Texting for Business™, today announced the appointment of Ravi Angadi as its chief product officer, and Nimrod Vered as its chief engineering officer. The two executive appointments underscore the company’s commitment to developing innovative product solutions that help businesses engage their customers and drive growth through texting.
Angadi will draw on almost two decades of experience leading global product teams across various industries to spearhead product management. He will lead the product and UX teams and oversee the strategy behind growing and enhancing Zipwhip’s platform.

He was most recently the CEO of Lango, a $70M systems and hardware design firm in China where he drove the closure of the company’s Series A funding round and helped shift product, operations and company culture to enable global reach and applicability. Before that, he held product leadership roles at Promethean, Agilysys, Verdiem and Amazon.

Along with Angadi’s appointment, Vered was promoted to chief engineering officer at Zipwhip. Vered was hired just over a year ago and has already transformed the engineering organization, strengthening team dynamics and increasing engineering output, while building Zipwhp’s high-scale software and API services.
This year Zipwhip saw record growth on its texting network, processing billions of texts per month with virtually 100% uptime for its tens of thousands of customers nationwide. As chief engineering officer, Vered will continue to oversee the development of Zipwhip’s services, scale its technical infrastructure, modernize engineering practices and maintain a strong sense of customer empathy.
