In a survey of 550 fully remote sales professionals, 70% said that selling virtually is not as effective as selling in person. Some of the challenges called out by respondents include limited interactions, distractibility and passive presentations. These challenges have led many companies to invest in technology to help sellers better understand buyer intent, automate prospect information and data capture, and enhance buyer engagement with the right content at the right time.
“There’s no doubt that technology is necessary to succeed in our current selling environment,” said Carson Conant, CEO and founder of Mediafly. “Companies who continue to leverage siloed sales solutions and miss the opportunity to create an immersive sales experience will lose. Incorporating Slack and Gong into the Mediafly platform gives sellers access to relevant content and call insights to close deals faster and drive more revenue.”
Through the Slack integration, Mediafly users can now search and share content and their favorite sales materials without leaving the Slack interface. Sellers can also set up Slack notifications when prospects review materials, new meetings are detected, or new content is uploaded for real-time content engagement updates.

In addition to the Slack integration, Mediafly has also released an integration with Gong. The integration pairs sales calls recorded by Gong with Mediafly’s Meeting Assistant capability to automatically capture call recordings, content presented, and meeting notes in one place.
“The last thing sellers need to worry about is the complexity of the technology they use and whether or not it’s going to get them the information they need,” said Jason Shah, chief technology officer, Mediafly. “Many of our customers are already using Slack and Gong. By integrating these solutions into their existing Mediafly workflow, we create a seamless experience for them, making it even easier for sellers to focus on what matters most – creating engaging customer interactions that close deals.”
Over the past several months, Mediafly has announced several exciting new capabilities, including Revenue360 and Copilot, to help revenue teams succeed in a digital selling environment. By adding the Slack and Gong integrations, Mediafly continues to address its customers’ needs for hybrid selling tools that foster improved buyer engagement and sales success.
