“These mentorship sessions are targeted at the career development models that have worked for many former ISRs and SDRs, but are not normally integrated into internal management processes. We hope to help many early-career sales professionals develop the tools to advance to the next steps and create a strong career path forward.”

Orum, the leader in AI-based automated outbound calling, today announced a “give back to the community” career development series of webinars during 2021. The mentorship series will be hosted by Orum CEO, Jason Dorfman, and Orum VP of Sales, Colin Specter, both well known high-technology sales leaders and ISR/SDR advocates.

Career Development: ISRs (Inside Sales Representatives) and SDRs (Sales Development Representatives) are the front line customer facing professionals in most modern sales organizations. They are often tasked with outbound lead development and qualification of inbound sales inquiries and leads. The work is hard, and the pace is demanding. The past several years has seen a growth in tools to help ISRs and SDRs accomplish their tasks, but according to Jason Dorfman, there has not been a parallel advancement in career mentorship methods and processes.

“The majority of ISRs and SDRs wish to use their experience to advance into higher levels of sales responsibility,” said Jason Dorman, CEO at Orum. “At Orum, we work with ISR and SDR team members from across the spectrum of industries. What they sell is different from one another, but the career aspirations are quite uniform – they wish to advance to become an account executive with higher quotas and commissions, and they need guidance from those who have traveled that path before them.”

No Cost to Attend: All sessions are free of charge. The sessions will be held once per month during 2021 and will require less than an hour of time investment per session.
