Aleada is now recognized by the Joint Utilities as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) when competing for procurements by public utilities that participate in the Utility Supplier Diversity Program. The certification is valid through March 2024 when the company will need to apply for re-certification. Aleada’s status as a WBE opens new doors for the company to market services to public utilities prospects committed to hiring vendors committed to diversity practices.
“The certification is powerful third-party validation of our business practices and our senior management team,” said Alya Franklin, Partner and Co-founder of Aleada Consulting. “New privacy regulations make data collection and use more complex, especially for public utilities. Aleada helps these organizations with top resources in data privacy compliance, information security, data governance best practices, as well as tools and research, to better navigate new technology and a rapidly changing regulatory environment.”
