Outform Releases Innovative Idisplay Thermometer for Safer Public Spaces

The device utilizes infrared thermopile and facial recognition technology to detect fever levels through body temperature readings at a store’s entrance or threshold. Anyone registering a temperature of 100.4° Fahrenheit or above will be alerted discreetly on-screen that they may have a fever. The device works when people are wearing face masks and optional add-ons include hand sanitizer dispensers and ticketing functions to help aid the customer flow for varied retail environments.

Designed to instill a sense of trust, safety and reassurance on the post-pandemic high street, an online version of the iDISPLAY allows the unit to be integrated within retailers’ existing digital ecosystems.

The iDISPLAY Thermometer is FCC-certified and is available with several different stands, including a plinth for checkout counters, to suit various retail environments.
