New one-stop platform aims to meet growing need for e-commerce, eyeing tremendous opportunity in the Greater Bay Area

Aiming to address the consistently growing need for e-commerce, Tencent Cloud announced its collaboration with online-to-offline (O2O) and e-commerce platform Posify to provide a new eShop solution that caters to every user, adding a Weixin Mini Program on top of its HTML 5 mobile, desktop and app versions. Tencent Cloud’s advanced cloud technology, paired with the Weixin’s ability to reach and connect with users as well as its knowledge on the China market and the Chinese consumer preference, is set to boost Posify’s expertise in O2O and e-commerce, providing users with a one-stop Content Management System platform for the creation of eShops. To amplify their businesses amid the pandemic and beyond, SMEs can now efficiently leverage Weixin Mini Programs for local shoppers to use their consumption vouchers from the Hong Kong SAR Government. Besides, the Weixin Mini Program provides a wealth of opportunities for Hong Kong SMEs looking to embrace digital transformation and specifically cross-border e-commerce. Thus, the addition of the Mini Program to the eShop will offer an effective channel for SMEs to reach out to more potential consumers in the Greater Bay Area.

Posify, with its expertise and experience from working with key clients such as Adastria (mother company of Collect Point, Global Work, niko and…), Hallmark Hong Kong, Paul & Joe, and GroupBuyer, among others, gives Hong Kong SMEs who have already signed up directly at www.posify.me/hk the ability to set their pricing and publish their products through the new eShop solution powered by Tencent Cloud. Magnifying the benefits brought about by the Consumption Voucher Scheme in Hong Kong, the platform also allows consumers to enjoy offers provided by WeChat Pay HK, such as daily lucky draw, double-up rewards and dedicated merchant coupons, when they spend on the Weixin Mini Program eShop created via Posify’s service.
