Lauren Shaffer Joins Govplace as Vice President of Sales

Govplace, a leading value-added reseller and systems integrator for federal agencies has announced Lauren Shaffer has joined the company as its Vice President of Sales. Lauren brings over a decade of federal sales experience and extensive contracting knowledge, most recently at a small federal contractor as their Sr. Director of Sales Operations. There, she led a sales team, managed their channel partnerships, and ran all capture efforts, working closely with the executive management team to develop strategies for growth.

Previously at Force 3, Lauren led an inside sales team responsible for over a hundred million in transactional sales and was instrumental in many key contracts wins, contributing to double digit revenue growth for the company. She also built and ran a successful Bid Desk Team and as well as their Sales Academy, hiring and developing new inside sales representatives. Lauren brings an admirable commitment to playing an active role in the design, planning, and implementation of solutions best suited for our federal customers’ specific mission needs. “I’ve been very fortunate to spend my career supporting the Federal Government and I am passionate about providing the best service and solutions to enable mission success. Lauren graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Business, Marketing and a B.A. in Communication. She is originally from Williamsburg, VA and currently lives in Annapolis, MD with her husband, two English bulldogs, and a cat who occasionally likes to make a cameo on video calls. When she is not leading sales teams, she enjoys reading, wine tasting, spending time with family and friends, and watching every show that Bravo has to offer.
