BigTime Software Names Pete Smith as New Vice President of Sales
BigTime Software, a premier provider of cloud-based software for professional services firms, today announced that veteran software sales executive Pete Smith has joined the company as Vice President of Sales.

In his new role, Smith will be responsible for overseeing sales and channel strategy and execution, in addition to leading the BigTime sales team, developing new business opportunities, leading customer success efforts and creating customized solutions to meet BigTime’s customer needs.

Smith brings more than twenty years of successful software leadership experience, strategic business growth, planning and implementation across sales, marketing and business development. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Sales for the Midwest at SAP, where he led regional sales teams working with growth companies on overall efficiency, cost savings and analytics. Prior to SAP, Smith held leadership roles in sales marketing at ExactBid, Finastra and Oracle.
Smith graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from St. Bonaventure University and currently lives in the Chicago area with his wife, two sons, and their dog, Crosby. Outside of work, he enjoys cheering on the Buffalo Bills and the St. Bonaventure Bonnies as well as watching his sons play hockey.
