Foko Field Launches at NRF 2019: Retail's Big Show

A Mobile Store Audit Platform for Better Execution

Foko Retail, a leading retail execution platform, today introduced Foko Field, its new product for consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies and brands. Foko Field connects CPG field teams to headquarters, improving in-store execution of merchandising, marketing and operations through its mobile store audit platform for field reps.

“CPGs face a unique set of challenges in retail these days,” says CEO Marc Gingras. “Their products are sold at a wide range of geographically dispersed stores, and they’re tasked with making sure that their product displays look and feel consistent across these different retailers. It’s really tough to do efficiently if you’re relying on emails to trickle in or spreadsheets to be filled out by your field teams.”

“That’s why we created Foko Field, to help CPGs get better visibility into and control over how their products are presented at various points of sale.”

CPGs and brands traditionally use a hybrid of emails, spreadsheets and phone calls to manage in-store execution and collect store visit information from their travelling field teams.

Foko Field helps streamline the store audit process. Instead of sifting through spreadsheet and email threads, field teams can submit tasks, surveys and photos straight from their mobile devices. HQ can then give feedback on execution and answer any questions the field reps might have, all in real time. The result is a faster, more accurate store visit process and stronger, more brand consistent execution across stores.

The product was developed in tandem with the CPG arms of many of Foko Retail’s current direct-to-consumer retail clients like Converse and Kurt Geiger, whose teams use it to manage the execution of visual merchandising and displays, promotions, sales, in-store marketing and operations.

Foko Field is modelled on consumer social media apps, so the intuitive look and feel means that most teams need little-to-no-training to get going. It has native iOS, Android and Web applications that can be accessed on any device, whether on a tablet or phone in-store, or on a desktop at HQ.
