Sovos Announces New Executive Leadership for Global Sales and Marketing

Andy Hershey and Chris Lynch bring vast experience to key sales and marketing functions for global platform companies

Global compliance technology solutions and services provider Sovos announced the appointment of two new executives. Andy Hershey joins Sovos as its chief revenue officer, where he will lead the global direct sales and sales engineering organizations. Chris Lynch joins the company as chief marketing officer, where he will lead cross-functional teams across multiple marketing disciplines and direct all initiatives impacting the category-leading brand. Both leaders bring to Sovos extensive experience in managing growth initiatives for large portfolio companies, and in markets consolidating from point solutions to platforms.

Hershey joined Sovos from NS1, acquired by IBM, where he served as chief revenue officer driving revenue generation and retention programs. Prior to that, he spent more than 10 years in sales leadership positions at Splunk, including global vice president, cloud sales and go-to-market transformation. He has spent the majority of his career concentrated on driving global revenue opportunities for cloud-based platforms and solutions.

Lynch joins Sovos from Mindtickle, where he served as chief marketing officer leading all global marketing functions, including product marketing, digital, demand generation, go-to-market strategy, brand and creative. He has held senior marketing leadership roles for several other large technology portfolio companies, including chief marketing officer at Cision and head of global product marketing for Oracle’s marketing cloud group. With an early career foundation in journalism and later product marketing, Chris is known in the industry as an innovative storyteller, able to craft new and creative ways for customers and prospects to envision new ways of working.
