Sales Veteran Walter Sharp Joins Fast-Growing Martech Firm

Azalead, the international technology leader in account-based marketing, announced the opening of a US sales and support office, and hired an industry sales veteran, Walter Sharp, to run its sales operations in this region. Sharp will join a rapidly expanding team already based in the US, and report to Meredith Bell, the company’s vice president of worldwide sales and president of the Americas. The office will be located in Madison, Wisconsin and serve as a base of Azalead’s North America operations.

Sharp joins an experienced team of sales and customer support experts who are supporting the expansion of Azalead into the North American market. With a particular focus on the industrial manufacturing sector, Azalead’s innovative approach to increased personalization and efficiency in how B2B marketing can be used to drive measurable revenue growth has gained traction with companies who are looking to convert and nurture more qualified prospects within their installed base.

Sharp joins Azalead following a successful career in sales at a number of enterprise-oriented technology suppliers. Most recently he served as a senior sales executive at Coupa, a provider of a cloud-based suite of financial applications that control the ways spend happens in companies. Prior to that, he built a 20+ year career with senior positions at enterprise providers People Answers, Zilliant, Ariba, Symantec and Clarify.
