68% of Sales Executives Say Meeting Scheduling Is a Major Hassle – New Pipedrive Scheduler Launched to Simplify the Process

Pipedrive Also Releases Tools for Google Assistant Ensuring Sales Actions Don’t Fall Through the Cracks, and Xero to Generate and Fully Track Invoices

A survey of 266 salespeople shows that 68 percent responded that the back-and-forth of scheduling meeting times is a hassle and too complicated.  As a result, Pipedrive Inc., the first CRM platform developed from the salesperson’s point-of-view, launched the new Pipedrive Scheduler, to easily automate and simplify meeting scheduling. The survey also indicated the critical importance of scheduling as a sales activity, as 63 percent of respondents schedule meetings on a daily basis. Yet, the back-and-forth can often be the friction that costs a deal.

Pipedrive Scheduler is specifically designed to schedule and confirm sales meetings enabling sales people to propose and set a meeting quickly based on general calendar availability or a specific one-time meeting slot.  Users can set recurring meeting types, durations, notes, URLs or many extra fields for the recipient to easily fill out.

Once meetings are scheduled, confirmation emails are sent to both parties, and calendars are automatically updated. If an opportunity comes up at short notice, the tool is also ideal to find and share available time slots outside of a usual work schedule. Pipedrive Scheduler is now available on Gold and Platinum plans, priced from $24.20/month.

In addition to Pipedrive Scheduler, the company announced virtual assistant functionality with Google Assistant, and invoicing with Xero. The features further reduce administrative burden, and free up sales professionals to focus on closing deals.

Pipedrive with Google Assistant Now Available to help Sales People On the Go

In addition, for sales professionals on the go, Pipedrive Voice Commands with Google Assistant is now available.  Its functionality supports critical administrative tasks for sales people – whether driving, walking or simply tired of typing notes.  It ensures no sales action falls through the cracks. Pipedrive can now execute common tasks hands-free, such as checking upcoming activities, scheduling calls, adding notes to activities, and setting follow-up activities to ensure prospects advance through the sales pipeline. The tool is available for use with all Pipedrive packages.

Xero Integration Generates to Ensure Invoicing

Pipedrive’s new Xero integration can generate invoices based on information already held within a Pipedrive account, with invoices fully tracked within Xero’s popular management software – allowing a user to oversee their incoming revenue when closing Pipedrive deals.

After simple activation from the Pipedrive Marketplace, users can create invoices from their Deal Details view in Pipedrive, approve and send those invoices from within Xero, and track the invoice status also in Pipedrive.

Vinay Ramani, Pipedrive’s Chief Product Officer, commented, “These latest tools were built by our in-house development teams, and are nice examples of how we optimize the sales process in ways that free up valuable time for the salesperson and prospect, plus increase control and accuracy.  The application possibilities for AI and sales are huge – most notably to qualify stronger leads and build data-driven action plans for Pipedrive users.”
