Alvys Raises $6.3M to Provide an End-to-End Operating System for Logistics Companies
The cloud-based logistics operating system closes its seed round to further enable efficient operations for carriers and brokers.
Alvys, an end-to-end operating system for middle mile logistics companies with a laser focus on carriers, announced it has raised a $6.3M seed round led by Bonfire Ventures, with participation from RTP Global and strategic angel investors. This initial investment comes as the company’s customer base has more than doubled since January 2023 and revenue has grown 5x year over year, solidifying Alvys as a game-changer in the trucking industry. The funds will be used to strengthen Alvys’ product offerings and expand its talented team, enabling the company to further invest in key areas such as research and development, product enhancement, and customer support.
Alvys’ revolutionary operating system helps trucking companies increase efficiency across all departments to deliver a seamless experience to their clients while remaining at the forefront of freight-tech innovation. The cloud-based platform eliminates friction between sourcing, fulfilling, and managing loads through powerful integrations and cross-departmental communication.
In addition to its focus on the underserved market of small to midsize trucking companies, Alvys has an enterprise platform that serves customers with fleets of 300+ trucks, and brokers moving over 6k loads per month. Whether it’s dispatch, driver management, load movement, accounting, safety, or compliance, Alvys allows users to complete tasks more efficiently, achieving easier asset addition and higher profit margins.

“Alvys has a transformative vision to be the modern end-to-end operating system for carriers and brokers, which will provide a direct connection between the carrier and shipper”
As a result, Alvys’ customers typically report a significant reduction in office overhead within the first month of implementation, while simultaneously increasing the number of loads moved by an impressive 22% within the second month.
“I switched to Alvys and I was blown away by the ease of use and the automation,” states customer Desmond Clark, CEO of Bear Down Logistics. “You just have to hit a button and there you go. You hit this button and a MacroPoint is sent out, you hit that button and an email is sent to the people that owe you paperwork. We can give our customers a link, and they can watch their own freight move across America, just like we can.”
“Alvys has a transformative vision to be the modern end-to-end operating system for carriers and brokers, which will provide a direct connection between the carrier and shipper,” said Jim Andelman, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Bonfire Ventures. “We knew Alvys was onto something special when nearly every customer we spoke to eagerly (and unprompted) shared demos of the platform to showcase its capabilities and just how impactful it has been in their lives. To say that customer love was apparent would be a great understatement.”
Founder and CEO of Alvys, Nick Darman, explained, “Carriers, especially in the SMB segment, are largely neglected in the trucking industry. Existing systems have failed by overlooking carrier workflows and providing inadequate carrier-to-shipper connectivity. By laser focusing on superior carrier workflows and seamless connection between carriers and shippers, we are changing the game for trucking companies. Unlike other operating systems, our system eliminates third-party dependencies on old-world EDI exchange, enabling direct connections between carriers and shippers on our platform. Alvys has successfully connected with hundreds of shippers and their operating systems, no third parties needed.”
