Cloudleaf Hires Former eBay, PayPal Leader as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer to Drive Scalable Next Generation Supply Chain Platform

Bhanot joins the Cloudleaf team after a year of explosive growth driven by a global need for improved supply chain visibility brought to light by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alok Bhanot is a seasoned technology and business leader with a stellar career leading large and startup teams across a spectrum of companies like eBay, PayPal, Verifone, Visa and startups like Inkiru and Qopper. He has built highly scalable platforms, systems and services for e-commerce, risk modeling, payment transactions, real-time predictive analytics and IoT-based operations systems. Alok has deep knowledge and experience in hyper-scale data architectures, modern cloud technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) and analytics. He has managed operations at scale reaching 30M+ devices across 150 countries and $100B+ transactions annually.

  • Expanding the capabilities of the Cloudleaf Digital Visibility Platform to meet the massive data challenges resulting from billions of sensors being deployed, contextual data sources and enterprise data
  • Developing advanced analytics and AI/ML algorithms within the Cloudleaf platform for predictive intelligence and new applications, and
  • Operationalizing the platform for large global customers.
