Hailing from Okta, Microsoft, and Motorola, Ed Sawma Brings High-growth Marketing Expertise to DevOps Automation Pioneer

Transposit, the data-driven DevOps automation company, today announced the addition of Ed Sawma to its executive team as Vice President of Marketing. Sawma brings more than 15 years of product marketing experience from industry-leading technology companies including Okta, Microsoft, and Motorola, and expertise in combining bottom-up growth with a top-down enterprise sales motion. At Transposit, Sawma will be responsible for overseeing product marketing, digital marketing, and corporate communications, with a focus on demand generation and enriching the customer journey.

Sawma comes to Transposit from Okta, the leader in identity and access management, where he served in several senior product marketing roles. From 2013 through its IPO in 2017, Sawma supported the growth of Okta’s core identity products business. In his most recent role as Okta’s Senior Director of Product Marketing, Sawma focused on growing the company’s second major product line, Okta Customer Identity. During the seven collective years Sawma spent at Okta, he witnessed the rise and power of developers in every enterprise and the immense impact they have on IT. Prior to Okta, Sawma held product marketing roles at Microsoft and Motorola for several mobile infrastructure, application, and service businesses.
