Company Poised to Support Technology Innovation Leaders with Modernization Efforts

GT Software, a leader in digital transformation and modernization, announced two leadership changes as the company looks ahead to 2021. Effective immediately, Alex Heublein will serve as the company’s President, and Todd Walcott, previously Vice President of Sales, will assume Heublein’s former role as Chief Revenue Officer. According to Smarter With Gartner, “Gartner Top 6 Trends Impacting Infrastructure & Operations in 2021 December 7, 2020, one of the six key trends that will impact infrastructure and operations in 2021 is core modernization. “Today, organizations are doing more to update and modernize their core infrastructures. This process helps minimize legacy drag, maximize efficiency and ensure resiliency as legacy infrastructure experts retire. It ensures infrastructure evolves in lockstep with emerging technologies, becoming more flexible to respond to digital business needs.”

Heublein, with a long track record of transforming organizations into high-performing, high-growth businesses, joined GT Software in October 2019 as Chief Revenue Officer. He brings a unique set of leadership, technical, and business skills to the table. Over the last 30 years, he held a wide variety of executive roles in software engineering, strategy, consulting, sales, alliances, and operations. Prior to GT Software, Heublein served as Vice President, Cloud Services at Hexagon and as Vice President, Global Technology Services at Oracle.
