Tech Data Names Al Morales Chief Transformation Officer

Tech Data announced Al Morales will join the company as Chief Transformation Officer on January 4, 2021. In this newly created role, Morales will report directly to the CEO and lead Tech Data’s global transformation to drive innovation in ways that will deliver improved experiences and greater agility for businesses across the technology ecosystem.

Morales brings to Tech Data more than 25 years of senior-level transformation and financial leadership experience, most recently as Chief Transformation Officer at AmerisourceBergen.

Prior to his time at AmerisourceBergen, Morales held senior leadership positions in tax consulting, controllership, and finance within the telecommunications, pharmaceutical, and oil and gas industries. He is a certified public accountant and obtained his bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master of science in taxation, from Florida International University.
