Fuze Enhances Collaboration with New Patent for Synchronized Viewing of Shared Content

Patent enables users to collaborate on a shared screen in real-time during video calls

The invention enables Fuze users to synchronously review and annotate documents on the same screen.

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued Fuze U.S. Patent No. 10887549 on January 5, 2021. As opposed to a screen share, this invention provides all video call participants the ability to mark up, track, and advance documents on a shared screen, including PDFs, videos, and images. For example, when viewing a video on a Fuze shared screen, all users have access to rich indicators to pause, add comments, and advance the video.
