“As we’ve seen significant growth over the past year – including two acquisitions – we’re continuing to grow our leadership team through adding key talent that are specialized for this time in our company’s size,” said Anthony Ferry, Co-founder and CEO of PriceSpider. “It is important that we have a seasoned leader to bring our global technology team together, and Thod is just that – an innovative, hands-on technology executive and recognized thought-leader who will foster an inspired technology culture at PriceSpider.”
Nguyen’s hire comes on the heels of explosive growth in ecommerce this year, largely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. PriceSpider saw a 180 percent increase in sales in Q2 across its platform, which processes and analyzes insights about consumer purchasing behavior for many of the world’s largest brands companies via proprietary “spidering” technology. The company has made two acquisitions that support the growth of their technology in the past 14 months: Columbus-based ORIS Intelligence, allowing them to increase their pricing monitoring technology, and German retail data firm Commerce Connector, allowing them to expand their global reach.

Nguyen earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University and has received many awards including a patent on web acceleration technology and network communications.
