Susquehanna Growth Equity (“SGE”) today announced that David Spitz has joined Susquehanna’s Portfolio Value Creation team as a Senior Advisor. In this role, David will mentor and support SGE portfolio company leadership teams while helping SGE extend relationships with entrepreneurs in the Carolinas and beyond.

David is the CEO of ChannelAdvisor (NYSE: ECOM), an e-commerce cloud platform that for nearly two decades has helped brands and retailers worldwide improve their online performance by expanding sales channels, connecting with consumers, optimizing their operations for peak performance, and providing actionable analytics to improve competitiveness.
During his time at ChannelAdvisor, David has overseen the growth of the firm’s annual revenues from $11 million to more than $130 million. Prior to ChannelAdvisor, David founded and successfully exited multiple venture-backed software companies.

David is currently an Advisor to Bull City Venture Partners and on the Board of Directors of Beazer Homes (NYSE: BZH) and closely-held digital marketing firm AdWerx, as well as an active member of NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors). Earlier in his career, David founded and sold two software companies, was an Entrepreneur in Residence for Aurora Funds, served as Foundation Board Director & Chair of the North Carolina School of Mathematics, Board Member & Chairman of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED), and was awarded four U.S. patents. In 2010, David was recognized as Triangle Business Journal’s CFO of the Year and in 2008 received the publication’s Top 40 Under 40 Award.
When not pursuing his professional interests, David enjoys fly fishing and spending time with his wife and six children.
